The discovery of human remains of tiny status and with little brain on the Indonesian island Flores in the year 2003 has been a sensation. It is moreover likely, that this new human species, Homo floresiensis (nickname “hobbits”), has lived recently unto 12’000 years ago. The fascinating discovering of this new human species can be seen here.
